BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

BOOKING:

For all portrait sessions; a non-refundable booking fee is required to hold the date for your session; it also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your session. If payment is not received 7 days prior, the booking will be cancelled and all monies paid will be non-refundable.

Clients must request rescheduling at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled session time. Reschedules are subject to availability. One reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours notice and is subject to availability. Additional reschedule requests may require a new retainer.

For wedding, event, and photobooth services; a 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to hold the date for your session; it also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance may be broken up into multiple payments and is due 30 days before the date of the wedding, photobooth, or event. If payment is not received 30 days prior, the booking will be cancelled and all monies paid will be non-refundable.

Event, wedding, and photobooth services require rescheduling at least 30 days prior to the event date. Requests made within 30 days are subject to cancellation policies. Event, photobooth, and wedding services must be rescheduled at least 30 days prior to the event date. Due to preparation and date reservation, late reschedule requests may result in cancellation without refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

The session retainer becomes non-refundable 48 hours after booking. If the Client cancels after this period, any monies paid will be retained by the Photographer. At the Photographer’s discretion, payments may be applied as a one-time credit toward a future session, subject to availability. If a credit is granted, the Client must request a new session date within 30 days of cancellation. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the credit, and a new booking process will be required.

All payments made toward weddings and photo booth services are non-refundable once the agreement is signed and the date is reserved. Due to the nature of event scheduling and date exclusivity, cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will result in forfeiture of all monies paid. At the Photographer’s discretion, payments may be applied as a one-time credit toward a future event or session, subject to availability. The Client must request a new date within 30 days of cancellation or the credit will be forfeited. If the Client requests to change the event date, the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date if available. If the Photographer is unavailable, the original agreement will be canceled and subject to this cancellation policy.

If Brandi Myers Photography & Design is unable to perform this Agreement due to fire, casualty, strike, act of God, illness, emergency, or any cause beyond the Photographer’s control, the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement or alternative service. If a replacement cannot be secured, the Photographer shall refund all monies paid, excluding the non-refundable booking fee, and shall have no further liability with respect to this Agreement.

The Photographer is not responsible for circumstances beyond their control that may impact coverage or delivery, including but not limited to venue restrictions, weather conditions, equipment malfunction, loss or damage of photographic materials during processing, or unforeseen technical failures. In the unlikely event of lost, stolen, or damaged files without fault or negligence on the part of the Photographer, liability is limited to a refund of payments received.

This limitation of liability applies to all services provided under this Agreement.
